Although Deer uses a 6.8mm Composite Dynamic Driver, I could not find any ventilation or opening, even though I could not get any driver flex either from them. The ear guides are made of silicone and are soft, which helps a lot with the comfort, while the cable does not conduct any microphonic noise in my experience.

The cable is the usual cable with a 3.5mm plug, it is not very tangle prone, and it is fairly ergonomic. It really makes me wonder if Linsoul and Heartfield wanted to name this IEM “dear” instead of “deer” The faceplate has 198 gem-like crystals, and the IEMs look pretty nice in person. It looks like Linsoul has a lot of philosophy behind the Heartfield Deer, as they mention that the word Deer refers to eternity of love in Ancient Chinese, along with happiness and success.

The design of the Deer IEMs is pretty basic and usual, with a full metallic shape, and a faceplate shell that reminds of diamonds and a very flashy aesthetic.
